Introduction to EOS in Blockchain cuties.
EOS can be quite hard to get started with. That is why I have written this short introduction to help you understand how it works and what you need to start playing on EOS in Blockchain cuties.
A good wallet to use for EOS is Wombat wallet;
Mobile: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.getwombat.android&hl=en&gl=US
PC Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wombat-eos-telos-wallet/amkmjjmmflddogmhpjloimipbofnfjih?hl=en
Pay close attention when installing your Wombat wallet and creating your EOS account. Take good care of your wallet recovery options and passwords.
When your EOS account has been created you should be able to go to your Wombat wallet app > ‘wallet’ > ’EOS’.
Here you can see your unique address, transactions, and how much EOS you have in your wallet.
To receive EOS in your wombat wallet go to ‘EOS’ > ‘Receive’ > and share eighter your unique address, which you can see at the top of your screen, or your QR code.
Memo is not needed when you want EOS to be sent to your personal wallet. But, let’s say you have EOS in your Wombat wallet and want it sent to an exchange account. In this case, you have to fill in the Memo as well. Wich the receiving exchange will provide you.
CPU and Net are needed to do a transaction on the EOS blockchain. In Wombat wallet you have 10 free transactions per day, but if you need to do more than that, you will need to rent CPU and NET.
Go to ‘Wombat wallet’ > ‘explorer’ > type in ‘eosauthority.com’ > press ‘open’ > ‘wallet’ > ‘power up’:
‘CPU required (milliseconds): 0.002 | Net required (kb) 0.0002
This will give you 10.50 MilliSeconds and 1.95 KiloByte for 24 hours. Which is enough to do tens of breeds + other on-chain transactions. So depending on what you want to do you may want to rent less or more than that.
When you have pressed ‘self’ and filled in the amount you want, you press ‘pay for power’.
The amount consumed for each transaction is not set in stone and you will have to monitor how much CPU and NET you use. This can be done at ‘bloks.io’ > ‘account’.
RAM is not something you need to learn about when playing Blockchain cuties.
Those 10 free transactions per day I mentioned can be found in ‘settings’ > ‘resources’ > sett ‘Use Resource Pool’ to ‘on’.
You can also subscribe to ‘Wombat Prime’. This subscription, which costs about a dollar per month, will get you 100 free transactions per day. You can find it at the top in ‘settings’ in your Wombat wallet.
Where can you buy EOS? Exchanges like Binance, Bithumb, and Gate.io are places where you can acquire EOS. To send EOS from your Exchange account to wombat wallet, use the unique EOS address you created. It should be 12 characters long.
Breeding cost on EOS blockchain in Blockchain Cuties is around 0.065 EOS in fees.
